Illuminating multiple meanings of the term “pack” – from packing heat to pack mentality – the book toys with the idea of the whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. At turns surprising, disturbing, and humorous, the collages break down the boundaries of the individual and draw our attention to the idea of the collective body. “Pack” includes a new essay by Asa Seresin, “Monsieur Thing’s Origin” that ties together the history of medical prosthetise with the history of dildos.
